• Electric Motor: Powers the hoist for lifting/lowering.

• Gearbox: Reduces motor speed and increases torque.

• Drum or Chain Wheel: Winds the rope or chain during operation.

• Wire Rope or Chain: The lifting medium (wire rope for heavy-duty, chain for light to medium loads).

• Brake System: Ensures load holding and safe stopping.

• Hook Block: Attaches the load to the hoist.

An Electric Jib Crane is a versatile lifting device designed for localized material handling tasks. It consists of a horizontal jib (arm) that supports a lifting hoist, which is typically powered electrically. The jib is mounted on a vertical column or wall, allowing the crane to rotate and cover a specific working area.

• Jib Arm: The horizontal beam that carries the electric hoist.

• Electric Hoist: Powers the vertical lifting and lowering of loads.

• Column or Wall Mount: Provides structural support; can be floor-mounted (pillar type) or wall-mounted.

• Slewing Mechanism: Allows rotation of the jib arm (manual or motorized), typically from 180° to 360°.

• Control System: Push-button pendant or wireless remote control.
